Hey. Welcome to Short reviews with Seth. Today, we're talking about the Merrell Speed Solo I've had these for a little over a year probably a year and a couple of months uh I haven't really kept track of the amount of miles I've put on them so let's just say somewhere around 800 to a 1000 uh miles. I use them for casual walks like dog walks things like that. They ended their life in the American southwest uh I guess like their their usable service life of what I would consider a hiking shoe. I would consider this a light hiking shoe really more like a sneaker if you're more if you're looking for kind of like maybe like a granola sneaker is a better way to put them uh or I guess a better way to put it. These are real comfortable right out of the box hardly any break-in period. Durability is kind of it's interesting they're pretty much flat after the um the amount of use I've put on them real mixed surfaces. Obviously they're not waterproof so haven't used them for super wet but on wet clay say like after a rain wet loamy stuff found they kind of slip around quite a bit. Overall though really really like them and one of my very favorite things as they're sort of later on in their life right now that I've used them for is uh house slippers for outside the house. So I live somewhere that's very dirty outside of my house and I can pop these on just like a pair of inside house slippers when I take the dog out little things like that. Walk around the block and I find that it helps keep my house cleaner and whenever I keep them laced up really loose like this uh I just can slip them on super easy. So that's the overall thing I mean kind of kind of granola sneakers is what I'm going to call these um but I really appreciate them lightweight, super comfy and a killer deal.
