This is the Norrona Trollveggen Down800 Super Light Hoodie. It has two pockets, an adjustable hood, a little bit of elastic down by the hem, windproof fabric, and it's not water resistant. It takes about 15 minutes of light rain before my shoulders start to get wet, a couple of reflective logos, elastic wrist cuffs, and that's pretty much it as far as features go. Super light jackets are meant to pack way smaller than something like a Patagonia down sweater. But that's the funny thing. My down sweater has 800 fill power down and so does this Norrona jacket that I'm wearing, but it's about half as warm as my Patagonia. So, if you have any idea why that is, let me know in the comments because I'd love to know. But the fact that it's such a lightweight jacket isn't exactly a bad thing. It's about 50° and there's a light breeze today. And I am perfect. If it starts to rain, just throw a light Gore-tex layer over it and I'm good to go. The hood fits pretty nice and the little elastic adjuster strap behind is a welcome touch. As far as sizing, I'm 6'2 and 190 lb (188cm, 86kg), and this jacket is a size medium. I'm really glad I got a chance to pop into the Norrona store in Colorado because I would have ordered a size large and it just wouldn't have fit right. If I had to choose only one down puffer jacket, this wouldn't be it because it's too light. This is a perfect piece of kit for the spring. I think it fits into my wardrobe nicely, and I can see myself wearing it a lot in the coming months on mild days like this. My experience with this jacket so far has been extremely high quality, excellent fit, and a price to match.
