Patagonia Torrentshell 3L - Short Reviews with Seth

(Please note the below text is a transcript of the video)

We'll see if any of this audio comes out at a...

All you can hear is wind :(

There, there's.... >:(

THIS is the Patagonia Torrentshell 3L Rain Jacket

Made with their H2NO fabric.

Kiiinda like Patagonia's in-house version of Gore-Tex.

It's a three layer membrane, holds up pretty well overall

aaand I would say the first 9 months or so that I had the jacket

that water repellent coating from the factory held out great

and then, when I re-applied it about.. two months ago?

It was.. uhh I guess, maybe user error?

But it hasn't held up nearly as well. You can see it's kinda wetting through.

Takes about two hours in these conditions.

I love the hood, lots of room. An elastic drawstring that keeps it up against my head in windy conditions

which is great :)

And the one essential thing I really like is..

PIT ZIIPSS!!!!!

That keeps me from getting too sweaty.

One of the weird things, though is the zippers are kinda tough - you can see me struggling with them here.

But hey, they're there, and that's what we love <3

Overall, this jacket has every single feature you would expect.

The price point is $149.00

Price is $179.00, not $149.00

Which is very agreeable.

Hard to find better value on the market.

And it has room for me, aaand to keep extra things dry,

Dog treats, fanny pack, all of that.

Overall?

DING

LOVE IT.
